Early Childhood Aboriginal Pathway Scholarships

This scholarship is for eligible Aboriginal people wanting to become an early childhood educator or early childhood teacher, including those looking to upskill. Scholarship options are available to support approved qualifications from Certificate III and Diploma through to degree and postgraduate level qualifications. These qualifications allow the recipient to teach either as an early childhood educator or an early childhood teacher registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Eligibility Criteria

The qualification studied must allow the recipient to teach either as an early childhood educator or an early childhood teacher registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. These include:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care;
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care;
Approved early childhood bachelor degree;
Approved early childhood graduate diploma;
Approved early childhood masters qualification.
