Essential Energy Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship

Essential Energy is a NSW Government-owned corporation, with responsibility for building, operating and maintaining Australia’s largest electricity network.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide recognition and financial assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander undergraduate students enrolled at the University of New England who are preferably on campus, studying in a full time capacity.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:
Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident;
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;
Applicants must be enrolled at UNE in a full-time capacity, preferably on campus, commencing Years 2, 3, or 4 in one of the following undergraduate courses;
Bachelor of Business;
Bachelor of Accounting;
Bachelor of Laws or combined Law degree;
Bachelor of Engineering Technology;
Bachelor of Computer Science;
Bachelor of Media and Communication;
Academic performance;
Applicants must have demonstrated academic performance with a minimum GPA of 5.0 in their university studies to date.
