Fernanda de Carvalho Memorial Jarjum Scholarship
Established in 2015 to contribute to the development of Indigenous primary school teachers formed in the Catholic tradition, in memory of Ms Fernanda de Carvalho.
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander;
Faculty: Arts and Education;
Course: Bachelor of Education;
Successfully completed and passed both components of LANTITE (Literacy & Numeracy);
Undertaking a seven week long practicum placement at Redfern Jarjum College in NSW;
Year level: final year.

Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
Evidence confirming your placement at the Redfern Jarium College;
Written statement of approximately 200 words outlining:
how your program of study would potentially benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
what you hope to gain from your practicum placement at Redfern Jarjum College;
how this scholarship will assist you.
