A $5000 scholarship to support rural, regional or remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students during their first year of study.

Be applying for or be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree;
Meet the requirements of HECS;
Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person;
Be from a rural, regional or remote Australian area.
Recipients may hold the Scholarship on a part time basis due to extenuating circumstances (such as a medical condition) which limits the recipient’s capacity to undertake full time study.
The Scholarship is transferrable to another undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney.
To receive the second and final scholarship payment, the recipient must achieve a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 50 in the first semester.
