Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be and identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student and must remain enrolled on a full time or part time basis or be a staff member.

Further Information
To undertake and engage in a project in a country with First Nation peoples (with a preference for New Zealand and Canada) that is relevant to issues facing Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people; or
to attend a conference or visit relevant centres to investigate issues of relevance to Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people; and
For legitimate costs associated with travel to the study project or conference such as airfares, accommodation and program expenses
Selection of the successful candidates will be made according to academic merit ensuring funds are used to support study projects with First-Nations peoples with a preference for programs in Canada or New Zealand. Academic merit for commencing students will be determined according to ATAR or equivalent scores. Academic merit for continuing students will be determined according to students’ cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) or equivalent scores.
