Technip Oceania has donated funds to The University of Western Australia to provide a scholarship to assist and encourage a high-achieving Indigenous student to pursue a qualification relevant to the oil and gas industry at the University.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to be considered for a scholarship, an applicant to the University must:
Be a domestic student;
Be an Australian Indigenous person;
Have applied for admission, or have been offered a place in:
(i) Master of Professional Engineering;
(ii) Master of Mining and Energy Law;
(iii) Master of Commercial and Resources Law;
(iv) Master of Environmental Science;
(v) Master of Engineering in Oil and Gas
(vi) Master of Business Information and Logistics Management;
(vii) Master of Business Administration;
(viii) Master of Geoscience;
(ix) Master of Petroleum Geoscience;
(x) Bachelor of Science with a major in Engineering Science;
(xi) Bachelor of Science with a major in Environmental Science;
(xii) Bachelor of Science with a major in Geology; or
(xiii) Bachelor of Commerce;
Be eligible to enrol in the first 24 points of a postgraduate degree course or have completed at least 48 points of an undergraduate degree course;

Applicants to the University will automatically be considered for this scholarship and do not need to submit a formal application.

Selection criteria:
Academic achievement: determined by the applicants’ Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (‘ATAR’) or equivalent ATAR as determined by the University.
The scholarship may be held concurrently with any other scholarship or award provided that this is permitted by the conditions of the concurrent scholarship or award.
