Chris Lewis Scholarship

Chris Lewis has been an inspiration to both young and mature people with his courage in adversity, wonderful sporting skills and community service with young Indigenous people. He espouses great family values and has worked for the betterment of life in the community. In 2000, Chris Lewis received the John Curtin medal for his role as an Indigenous leader and his community work. The Chris Lewis Scholarship has been developed by Curtin University to support an Indigenous Australian student who can demonstrate academic potential and commitment to the Indigenous community.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;
– be enrolled to study an undergraduate degree course at Curtin in the applicable semester;
– have the ability to demonstrate a commitment to the Indigenous community and;
– be enrolled full time in the applicable semester (minimum of 75 credits).
