This scholarship provides financial support to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who are undertaking a UTS undergraduate Science degree.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, providing a Confirmation of Aboriginality from a local Land Council or other Indigenous organisation or an UTS Statutory Declaration form accompanied by two written references from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people from your community who can confirm your identity and are not an immediate family member;
– be enrolled or intending to enroll in an undergraduate course (including eligible double degrees) or a graduate certificate at the UTS in the Faculty of Science directly following the Scholarship selection and;
– be available to attend an interview.

The selection criteria includes:
– a passion and/or interest for study in science;
– demonstrated life experience that contributes to the motivation to study science and;
– clearly communicates a vision of where science may lead them after graduation.
