Indigenous Master of Psychology Scholarship

Financial resources are a major issues impacting tertiary study for Indigenous students. This contributes to the chronic under-representation of Indigenous students in postgraduate clinical psychology programs that, in turn, results in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander psychologists making up well 1% of the proportion of all registered psychologists.
By offering a scholarship for each full-time year in our Clinical Psychology program at UNE, they hope to encourage, retain and support their Indigenous students on the pathway to becoming a qualified Psychologist to address these major workforce shortages.
