CSIRO First Nations Australians Scholarship

This Scholarship is to support further engagement with the sciences amongst First Nations Australians. The Scholarship funds will be used to support overcome obstacles to education in the fields of Science, Engineering and Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:

  • be a First Nations Australian. You may be required to provide supporting documentation to confirm Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
  • be enrolled in one of the eligible courses found here and;
  • be enrolled full-time for the duration of the Scholarship. 

How to Apply

Alongside your application, you must submit a written statement which must address each of the selection criteria, which includes:
 

  • demonstrate passion, ability and initiative in your approach to study;
  • provide a short summary which includes details of your background, reasons why you are applying for the Scholarship, reasons for choosing your area of study and details of your future plans and ambitions (including employment goals);
  • demonstrate an interested in engagement and building a relationship with the donor organisation and;
  • outline your career or progression intentions upon the completion of your course.
