Indigenous Law Students Program
The Indigenous Law Student Program offers the successful candidate the unique opportunity to gain an insight into the Australian legal system. The Program provides an innovative and solid foundation to support Indigenous students who are pursuing a career at the Bar, with the key objective of increasing the number of Indigenous barristers at the Queensland Bar.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, a student must:
Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent;
Identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;
be accepted as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which he/she lives, has lived or with which he/she is associated;
Be enrolled in a law degree at a recognised Australian University, on a full-time or part-time basis;
Have successfully completed at least two years of his/her law degree.
