Gregg is a proud Torres Strait Islander man from Sai Bai Island in the Torres Strait of Far North Queensland. Gregg had the privilege of growing up on beautiful Biripi and Worimi Country in Taree and Forster on the Mid North Coast which is the community in which he’s known and accepted. He now lives on Gadigal Country in Sydney which has been home for the last 3 years. Gregg’s professional background has primarily been in child protection, as well as practice support and project officer roles. Being a former child in care drove Gregg to pursue a career in the child protection sector to push for better outcomes for Indigenous children and families, utilising his personal experience to actively be involved in advocating for change at a systemic level.
