Kate Lienert

Kate is a proud Gumbaynggirr woman who grew up on Bidjigal/Gadigal land. She has a background in Children’s Services, where she has led teams and worked closely with families to create programs that reflect the unique needs and interests of the community. Kate is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, youth, and communities through strong relationships and shared values. She holds an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management and is completing a Diploma of Counselling to further develop her skills in supporting others. Kate also volunteers on the committee of Life for Koori Kids, a charity supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
