Sheliah is a proud Noongar woman from Boorloo (Perth) with connections to both Yued/Wadjuk and Balladong on her maternal side and Yamatji and Serbian heritage on her paternal side. Her background reflects a rich tapestry of cultural heritage and identity.

She has worked for up to a decade in Community, Youth development, Program Coordination, and prevention of family violence, in non-for-profit organizations, community services, Government, and Indigenous affairs.

Sheliah has completed a diploma in Indigenous Mentorship & Leadership and holds several certificates in the community and mental health space. She is also a Yorga Djenna Bidi Alumni.

Sheliah is passionate and a dedicated advocate for supporting Indigenous youth, women, and families. She is a creative, hard-working individual with a strong desire and passion to uplift and empower Indigenous people to reach their fullest potential. Sheliah holds a deep understanding of Indigenous Mentorship and the challenges our people face.
