The Aurora Internship Program works with a variety of incredible host organisations across the country. National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy (NASCA) is one organisation you could work with as an Aurora intern.

NASCA is a grass roots organisation that has been an Aurora internship host for over a decade. The organisation works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their families and communities to assist youth with their school performance, develop career pathways, strengthen their cultural identity and to build on personal development.

The organisation engages young people through its sports and youth development programs, implementing the findings of numerous research studies. The research has shown a strong link between sport and positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
