Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is open to current students who meet all of the following criteria:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
Faculty: Law and Business;
Course: any ACU Law degree;
Campus: North Sydney, Brisbane, Blacktown or Melbourne;
Financial hardship;
Have not previously received the ACU Law – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Equity Scholarship.
How to Apply
Applicants are required to provide the following as part of the application:
A written statement of approximately 500 words outlining:
– why you have chosen to undertake your degree,
– what you hope to achieve through your degree and how it will change your future,
– any hardships or barriers you have faced in accessing higher education.
Evidence of financial hardship:
– most recent Tax Assessment Notice OR Centrelink Income Statement OR the most recent 60 days of bank transactions AND pay slips from the last 6 weeks.
Two letters of recommendation, these can be from any of the following:
– Community engagement leader, Personal, Professional or religious leader.
Upload Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status.
