Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be a continuing student who has completed the first year, but not in their final semester;
– be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
– be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (excluding research);
– be undertaking studies if a STEAM course – science, technology, engineering, arts or mathematics;
– be studying at the Gippsland Campus and;
– have evidence of being a part of the AIME program. 
 

How to Apply

You need to apply through Federation University’s Scholarship Portal, answering the questions on the application form and providing written references. 

Please note:

A reference letter is a written recommendation from someone who knows your situation well. This person:
  • should be at least 18 years old;
  • have known you for at least a year or for the entire time you were in the situation;
  • not be a close family member;
  • not live with you;
  • and be able to speak about your situation without needing you to explain it to them.
