AMA Indigenous Medical Scholarship
The AMA recognises the critical importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors in contributing to better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This scholarship is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander medical students who demonstrate a commitment to their community and to medicine, and who may not have the financial means to realise their dream.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be enrolled full time in a medical degree at Flinders university and have successfully completed at least your first year of medicine and;
– identify and be accepted by the community in which you live or have lived as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. You must provide an official letter from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community organisation to support your claim.
