Australian Rotary Health Indigenous Health Scholarship

Established by USYD’s Faculty of Medicine and Health, this Scholarship is to assist Indigenous students to undertake a course in a wide range of health-related professions.
This scholarship is to assist a student to gain an education that will in turn enable them to use this education for the benefit of other Indigenous people in some of our remote areas.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as defined in the University of Sydney’s Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity Policy 2015;
– be an Australian citizen;
– be enrolled, or have an unconditional offer of admission into an undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the Faculty of Medicine and Health;
– have completed at least one year of tertiary study at an Australian university and;
– be in a proposed course of study that contributed significant benefit to the needs of the Aboriginal community.
