An undergraduate or postgraduate coursework scholarship for students who are studying the Doctor of Dental Medicine or Bachelor of Oral Health
Established in 2016, this scholarship has been generously donated and established by Dr Lawrence F Smith to assist an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student studying in the area of dentistry at the University of Sydney. The Scholarship is valued at $6,000.

Eligibility Criteria
You must:
- have an unconditional admission offer or be currently enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Dental Medicine or Bachelor of Oral Health
- identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander as defined in the University of Sydney’s Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity Policy 2015
- be able to demonstrate financial need.
