Evelyn Boekemann Scholarship
For Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students in a certificate IV or diploma, worth up to $7,000 per year.
Provides up to $7,000 for the standard duration of your vocational program and then can continue as you progress into an associate or Bachelor’s degree program for the standard duration of that program/
For Certificate IV and diploma students, the program duration which may include a sequence where you articulate from Certificate IV to a diploma and then into an advanced diploma in the same field.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
-be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
– be enrolled full-time in semester 1 and 2 at RMIT in a certificate IV, diploma or advanced program in 2023
– register with RMIT’s Ngarara Willim Centre and provide documentation confirming that you are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
– be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage such as receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card,
– be able to demonstrate circumstances which impact your ability to study, such as having a long-term medical condition or disability, experiencing personal/family/social difficulties, be from an interstate area and moving/moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT, have previous/are currently living in foster/kinship care or are a ward of the state and/or be from an under-represented background such as completed school at a School Network Access Program school.
