First Nations Course Commencement Grant

This grant is available for commencing students who identify as Indigenous Australian to assist with expenses associated with participation in course requirements at Charles Sturt. This is a one-off payment of $1000 for those commencing in the applicable year. This grant is offered to assist with associated costs such as attending intensives, purchasing equipment or resources and managing cultural obligations in the lead up to course start dates.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be an Indigenous Australian citizen;
– be commencing in the applicable year in undergraduate or postgraduate awards;
– enrolled in a Charles Sturt course as a Commonwealth-supported student in a Commonwealth-supported place;
– applying within four weeks of your course commencement date.
