Further Information
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to research students who are undertaking research that aims to equip Indigenous community-owned organisations with the practices needed to meet the goals of community development and organisational sustainability.
The project aims to identify how Indigenous community-owned organisations are able to effectively combine Indigenous knowledges and culture and Western management concepts in order to deliver effective services to their communities. The research should be of significant benefit to Indigenous community-owned organisations assisting them to deliver the services needed to close the gap on a range of economic, health and social measures.
