Indigenous Australians Leading in Business MBA Scholarship
USYD Business School is committed to addressing the under-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in senior leadership positions. This scholarship aims to accelerate the rate at which Indigenous Australians move into senior leadership roles within all forms of Australian enterprises.
The part-time MBA is ranked number 1 in Australia and has a strong focus on developing the personal and interpersonal skills required to lead in today’s hyper-connected, global environment.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as defined in the USYD’s Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity Policy 2015 and;
– be eligible for admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) within the Business School at USYD.
Students currently enrolled in the USYD MBA and employees of USYD are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to Apply
Submit an online application form via the USYD website;
Upload a copy of your CV, academic transcript, supporting documents confirming Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity, and a maximum two-page personal statement demonstrating:
– leadership experience and potential in your chosen field;
– a demonstrated commitment to advance the wellbeing and rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and;
– a vision of how completion of the part-time MBA will further contribute to positive change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
