Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship
This Scholarship is funded by the Australian Government under the Indigenous Student Success Program. It is valued at $9,000 (pro-rata for part-time)
The purpose of the Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarships is to widen participation in higher education on campus for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Equity programs aim to overcome educational and financial disadvantages and help everyone access their potential.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
– Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
– Open to ALL new and continuing students enrolled in a UNE Enabling, Undergraduate or Postgraduate (Coursework) course at the University of New England;
– Relocation to Armidale for the purpose of study: Be able to demonstrate a planned relocation for the upcoming teaching period, or a recent relocation to Armidale in the last 6 months, for the purpose of study.
– Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
