Indigenous Master of Professional Psychology (MPP) Scholarship

The Indigenous Master of Professional Psychology (MPP) Scholarship supports Indigenous Australian students pursuing the “5+1” pathway to become registered psychologists. The MPP, an APAC-accredited tertiary psychology program, represents the fifth year of this pathway. Currently, only 311 registered psychologists in Australia identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, making up less than one per cent of the profession.

This Scholarship aims to support Indigenous students in pursuing careers as psychologists and promote representation and diversity in psychology and the broader workforce.
