Irene Lind Honours Scholarship

Each year, the Tjabal Centre will offer up to two Honours Scholarships known as the Irene Lind Scholarships. They aim to encourage and provide financial support for Indigenous students who wish to pursue an honours degree that has a focus on the environment and/or environmental sustainability.
 
Funding for this award has been provided by David Ferguson in honour of his late wife Irene Lin.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be a domestic student;
– identify and be accepted as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
– receive an offer of admission to or are currently enrolled in an Honours program at ANU and
– have a research topic that relates to environmental sustainability or more broadly, the environment.

Students wishing to apply for this scholarship should send a detailed statement of no more than one page outlining the topic of their Honours project and the potential impact of their research.
