Jodie Michelle Reid Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2016, as a tangible memorial to Jodie Reid, a 1996 ACU Nursing Graduate and Centaur Medalist, who died in 2004, aged 27, after suffering from Diabetes mellitus for 25 years.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be commencing or continuing an ACU course in the applicable semester;
– be Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander;
– be enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery or Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Paramedicine;
– participate or intent to participate in a professional or personal activity in a rural or remote-based community;
– demonstrate financial hardship and;
– currently live in, or have relocated from, a regional, rural or remote area of Queensland.
