Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship:
If you are an Indigenous Australian intending to enrol or currently studying in the Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences, you may be eligible for this scholarship. It covers the cost of one year’s accommodation at Monash Residential Services.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
An Australian citizen;
Commencing or continuing student enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia;
Intending to reside at Monash Residential Services on any campus. You must apply directly to Monash Residential Services (MRS) for on-campus accommodation;
Provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. This can be emailed to wci-study@monash.edu. If you have any queries please contact the William Cooper Institute on 9902 4972.
Preference will be given to students with low income.

Benefits:
Monash Residential Services accommodation costs paid for one year only up to $10,000. (This is based on a standard room in Residential Village. This does not include food expenses);
Participate in the Faculty Indigenous Vertical Peer Program.
To retain this scholarship:
You must reside in Monash Residential Services;
You must provide a community reference.
