Research Training Program Scholarship (Indigenous)
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology welcomes Indigenous Australians to complete a Higher Degree (PhD or Master) by Research at the University of Melbourne. This scholarship includes; 100% fee-offset for up to two years and a living allowance of $52,300 per year pro rata for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a doctoral degree. The living allowance may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, maternity and parenting leave. A relocation grant of $2000 for students moving from States or Territories other than Victoria or $3000 for students moving from outside Australia can also be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived and;
– Have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne.
