Northparkes Indigenous Scholarships provide financial support and encouragement to students interested in a career in the mining industry, in addition to those who wish to pursue non-technical degrees in other fields.

Eligibility Criteria
These scholarships are offered to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students. Applicants must be maximum age: 30 during the year for which the scholarship will be used, with possibility of renewal if the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.
This scholarship is offered to Indigenous Australian students commencing Tertiary study (at an agreed University) in a discipline aligned to the mining industry. The scholarship student is expected to undertake a summer vacation placement at Northparkes Mines in their first and second years of study.

Further Information
Successful applicants receive between $5,000 (non technical) and $10,000 (technical) funding each year of their university studies.
