Scholarship for Australian Indigenous Women
The intention of the Australian Indigenous Women’s Scholarship is to support Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women studying in the Faculties of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) and Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS).
The scholarship is funded by Jean Clarke, a Fellow of the University of Wollongong. She has had a life-long passion for access and equity and the importance of education for women, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
In the event of exceptional applicants, the selection panel reserves the right to split the funding between multiple recipients.
