The Department for Health and Wellbeing offers an Aboriginal Health Scholarship Program in partnership with Australian Rotary Health. The program aims to increase the number of professionally qualified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the South Australian health sector.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be residents of South Australia for more than 12 months prior to submission, provide Confirmation of Aboriginality from an Aboriginal organisation (no Statutory Declarations will be accepted), and be enrolled in a health related course such as, but not limited to: medicine, registered nursing, midwifery, dentistry, pathology, allied health, environmental health and health promotion.
