Sydney Zoo Indigenous Scholarship

Sydney Zoo is the sponsor of three scholarships as part of its partnership with Western Sydney University, with two scholarships awarded to Indigenous students studying in a field associated with the zoo.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and submit documentation confirming your identity;
– be a new or continuing student and;
– be studying one of the following courses
  • Bachelor of Tourism and Event Management;
  • Bachelor of Science (preference for a major in Zoology);
  • Bachelor of Advance Science (preference for a major in Zoology);
  • Bachelor of Communication;
  • any double degree combined with a Bachelor of Communication;
  • Bachelor of Natural Science (continuing students only); 
  • Bachelor of Business (preference for Accounting, Applied Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management and Marketing majors. Not including majors in Property and Sports Management) or;
  • any double degree combined with a Bachelor of Science from the same category as above.
