Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:
Be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and state that he/she identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and is recognised by his/her community as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person;
Be enrolled as a full-time student at The University of Notre Dame Australia in the School of Medicine, Fremantle;
Be able to demonstrate satisfactory academic achievement throughout the year in which the Scholarship is awarded;
Be able to demonstrate the circumstances set out in the Selection Criteria.
How to Apply
Written applications setting out compliance with the Eligibility Requirements and addressing the Selection Criteria must be made on the application form available from the University website. Applications must be submitted to the Office of University Relations, Fremantle.
Further Information
The Scholarship is awarded to the applicants who, in the opinion of the Selection Committee, best demonstrate through their application and supporting documentation:
Personal circumstances which warrant special consideration;
Personal qualities and motivation, including personal determination to train and work as a medical practitioner;
Academic merit.
The Scholarship will be advertised on the University website in the year preceding the award of the Scholarship.
