University of Sydney Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Entry Scholarship
This scholarship supports academically gifted Australian Indigenous students to commence tertiary study at the University of Sydney.
The scholarship is valued at $10,000 and is tenable for one year only.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:
– be a student of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent;
– have obtained an ATAR in the HSC (or equivalent) of 85.0 or above and;
– be commencing in the first year of an undergraduate degree through UAC.
How to Apply
No application is required, as all eligible students will be automatically considered.

The scholarship recipient must enrol full-time in the agreed program during the tenure of their scholarship. Recipients may hold the scholarship part-time due to extenuating circumstances such as a medical condition which limits the student’s capacity to undertake full-time study. An application for a part-time scholarship must be submitted to the Scholarships Office for consideration.
To continue receipt of the Scholarship, a Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester minimum is required.
