WAAPA Scholarship for Aboriginal Performance
This Scholarship will support a student enrolled in Certificate IV in Aboriginal Performance course at WAAPA. This is aimed to assist students who have a passion for Aboriginal performance and are experiencing financial hardship.
It is a one-off payment of $4000 to cover course fees and any remaining credit will be paid directly to the recipient.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
– be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
– be experiencing financial hardship;
– maintain a course progression status of GREEN;
– be enrolled full time in Certificate IV in Aboriginal performance and;
– not be in receipt of another scholarship over $5,000.
How to Apply
You will be required to provide a personal statement no longer than 500 words addressing the following:
– Describe your current financial personal circumstance and how you would benefit from receiving this scholarship;
– Why have you chosen to study Aboriginal Performance?
