My internship experience was very positive. I had supportive structures around me, with my supervisor checking in often and keeping clear lines of communication. I was trusted with tasks, and had things to do all the time. It helped me to understand how to progress within my career. It showed me how to get into the Indigenous sector with entry level jobs, and how to continue to progress.I would highly recommended continuing to work with AIATSIS.
