G. and I. Hester Indigenous Pathway Scholarship in Medicine
The Godfrey and Ione Hester Indigenous Pathway Scholarship in Medicine was established by Dr. Vanessa Harvey in memory of her parents, to provide assistance to an Indigenous student who has accepted an offer of assured entry into the course for the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) at The University of Western Australia. The scholarship is to support and assist an eligible student to commence and undertake the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University.
This scholarship pays up to $10,000 per annum for up to four years.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, applicant candidate must be:
– a domestic student;
– an Australian Indigenous person;
– accepted into the course for the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a Direct Pathway and;
– enrolling in their first 48 points of the course.
