What a great experience! As an ecology Masters student that is very keen on supporting Aboriginal cultural landcare it was so awesome to see how contemporary economic systems can increase these opportunities for Traditional Owners. I gained excellent experience in the implementation of fires, and better understand the nuances of cultural and contemporary fire management. The experience was also super helpful in getting work in the sector.
