2025 UK Study Tour Wrap Up

Over October and November, six students participated in Aurora’s UK Study Tour, visiting world-leading universities across London, Oxford and Cambridge.

The Study Tour provides a unique opportunity for students to explore studying abroad and consider how international education could open doors and influence their career trajectory. Over the three weeks, the group had the opportunity to visit some of the most prestigious colleges in the world and envisage themselves as future students. From college tours and info sessions to group lunches, dinners and conversations with staff on the ground, they gained a real insight into what it’s like to study at two of the world’s most prestigious universities.

Highlights of the trip included a visit to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office where they had dinner with Former British High Commissioner Vicki Treadell, visits to colleges at Oxford and Cambridge, and so much more.

Reflecting on his time visiting Oxford on the 2025 UK Study Tour, Kieran Costigan shared “My key takeaway and overall favourite part was getting clarity on the courses that I want to study, as well as the invaluable time spent with key people at Oxford.”

The Study Tour can offer participants a transformative opportunity to explore new pathways, broaden their perspectives, and gain greater clarity about their academic aspirations.  For Ruby, she “came on the Tour with the goal of finding out the course I’d like to do, the university I’d like to go to and if I could see myself living in the UK. I came home having answered all of those questions. For me that was the purpose of the Study Tour.”

Following their insightful time abroad, we can’t wait to see the journeys of these passionate and determined individuals.
