The Aurora High School Program (HSP) team were really friendly and supportive through out my internship. During my internship the team faced several challenges as conditions forced us to move the school camps online format. I was given tasks revolving around this transition. I also researched how to better engage with the students in our program online by assessing factors like online child safety and analysing state and company protocols on social media. I found this work interesting and engaging as it was greatly relative to the youth work I would like to pursue in the future. Overall I would certainly recommend interning for the HSP for anyone interested in education or social work.
