2023 Alumni National Gathering

The Alumni National Gathering held on Friday 30 June 2023 in Meanjin (Brisbane), brought together a diverse group of Charlie Perkins Scholars, Roberta Sykes Scholars, and International Study Tour Scholars to celebrate their shared experiences and accomplishments. The event aimed to foster networking opportunities and strengthen Alumni connections. Special guests included Turrbal woman Baringa Meanjinu, Charles Prouse, Karen Mundine, Selwyn Button, and Matt Rix. To facilitate networking, a Cultural Amazing Race was held with two teams racing around Meanjin to several significant sites and finishing at Aboriginal Art Co for a reception event.
