First Nations Agriculture Scholarship

The School of Agricultural and Wine Sciences has established an Indigenous Agriculture Initiative that seeks to provide opportunities for Indigenous undergraduate students and postgraduates students interested in agriculture, refer to the Indigenous Agriculture Initiative. Part of this Initiative is to provide an undergraduate scholarship program for Indigenous students considering a career in agriculture. Currently, there are many good employment opportunities in agriculture as well as a need for education and training for Indigenous managed lands. The IAI scholarship provides students with an $8000 (FT equivalent) top-up of their Abstudy entitlement.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this Scholarship you must:
– be commencing your first year at CSU studying a Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management, Bachelor of Animal Science, Bachelor of Horticulture, Bachelor of Viticulture, Bachelor of Veterinary Biology / Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Bachelor of Veterinity Technology;
– identify as a First Nations person and;
– be studying at the Wagga Wagga campus.
