Griffith University Indigenous Australian Postgraduate Research Scholarship

The scholarship is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research candidates. It provides a living allowance of approximately AUD$50,000 (2023 rate, indexed annually) per annum;— paid as a fortnightly stipend, and a relocation allowance. Sick leave, parental leave and leave of absence provisions also apply.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible you must:

The scholarship is available to applicants of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who identify themselves as such, and are accepted by the community with which they are associated with as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;

Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the program to which they have applied.
