Indigenous Accommodation and Relocation Scholarships
The ISSP – Accommodation/Relocation Scholarship is to assist students with the cost of relocation, accommodation or commuting to campus.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:
- an Indigenous Australian citizen;
- studying an undergraduate or postgraduate degree as an active student;
- enrolled in a Charles Sturt course as a Commonwealth supported student in a Commonwealth supported place;
- a commencing or continuing student. Continuing students must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher (pass grade average);
- enrolled as an internal or mixed mode student;
- full time or part-time
- applicants must not be receiving or have received a payment from any other source for the same purpose of relocation or accommodation costs, including the Centrelink Relocation Scholarship or Centrelink Residential Cost Option
- in financial need – in receipt of an eligible means tested Centrelink Benefit or able to demonstrate financial hardship
Further Information
To continue to be eligible for this scholarship, you must, by the census date of each subsequent session:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Please note: Priority will be awarded to Indigenous students from remote or regional areas.
