LEVO Indigenous Technology Scholarship

This scholarship supports a student of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent who has the passion, personal potential and commitment to undertake a UTS Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
– be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Islander descent and provide either a Confirmation of Aboriginality from a local Aboriginal Land Council or other organisation or provide an UTS Statutory Declaration accompanied with two written references from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people from your community who can confirm your identity and are not an immediate family member and;
– be enrolled in the first year or intending to enrol in one of the following UTS courses: Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice or a combined Engineering course, majoring in software engineering or data science engineering.

– demonstrate how their personal values and aspirations align to the goals of the scholarship as outlined by LEVO.
