Hannah

During my time at AMSANT I assisted the SEWB team in completing applications for ethics and funding for research they are planning to conduct. I also assisted in beginning a literature review for this research. I was able to visit community to help with some training for Syphilis testing, and was offered the opportunity to make a presentation about HIV prevention for CONGRESS on World AIDS Day (which was great as I completed my thesis in this area). Really good! Everyone was really friendly and I learnt a lot. I feel like the work I was doing was meaningful and helpful. This internship has helped me create a rough plan for the next few years by opening up opportunities for employment after my grad role in Sydney.
