The most rewarding and inspiring aspects of working at NAAJA is seeing the firsthand impact they have on Indigenous people’s lives and bringing to the forefront the injustices and barriers they face on a daily basis. Also, the financial support Aurora has provided me both with accommodation and during the internship has meant I was able to travel interstate to undertake an internship. It is likely that without this support I would not have been able to undertake an internship and for that I am extremely thankful and grateful to the team at Aurora for providing such assistance.
