My internship experience with St John Ambulance in Alice Springs was incredible. Both the Aurora and St John Ambulance staff were extremely supportive, helpful and friendly in all aspects of the program. I gained an invaluable amount of knowledge, exposure and understanding of Aboriginal culture and health challenges faced by indigenous people. This internship has given me confidence in my career choice and made me passionate to work in an area with a high indigenous population after my studies.
